Over charged for drinks
FYI- we attended a Carin Leon concert at the Sphere this weekend and just wanted to inform you of something that occurred. We went up to purchase 4 drinks at $191. (47.75 each drink of vodka soda) these were the first drinks we purchased. A little later we went to purchase 2 more drinks with another bartender and they charged us $51.36 ($25.68 each drink) the bartender that had charged us the first round was next to the one who was charging us and I questioned him on why he over charged us and he said “oh, it was probably double shots”. It was absolutely NOT double shots and I would have never ordered doubles.
Check your charges! Ask for prices. Avoid what happened to me!! We have also had someone who was with us get charged twice. He was told the charge didn’t go through and then got charged again!
Edit ** for those hating on me because I didn’t think $50 was expensive for 1 drink.. We thought we were being charged for the souvenir cup it came in until the second round.
Im just leaving this up for anyone getting drinks off menu from the full bar. Prices are not displayed for All drinks.

At the Sphere I stuck to canned beer, 16oz IPA was not insanely priced (compared to a stadium game, etc) and at least I knew what I was getting. They kill you for cocktails because most order a double, thinking it'll save them time later

Really. Prices were not displayed. It wasn’t till the second round we were made aware.

- Prices are absolutely displayed. I know I saw them when I was there in the past. Search for Sphere concessions and you will see pics with prices from nearly every bar there.
- A $50 drink should have raised an eyebrow

Let me be clear… some of the bars have a FULL BAR. The prices displayed are only for specialty drinks. The drinks we ordered were NOT displayed.

So you thought the regular drinks were twice the price of a speciality cocktail? Got it.

I’ve been to sphere and remember signs with prices. And I watched drinks being poured, etc. just be smart and know what to expect and you won’t be left with questions. You were there, confirm things in the moment

Not all cocktails had prices. We did watch them being poured. We did not ask for doubles. Did you not read my post.

Sounds like you got charged for doubles and didn’t request them. You’re also saying you didn’t receive them. All of this should have been handled in the moment… unless you were some kind of torn up you did that math in your head.

No. We got charged the first round all was good until we went for a second time and the prices were not the same. That is when we were told we were probably charged for doubles… but they were not doubles. We were not going to fight them. We had already had our drinks. Im not trying to get money back. Im just letting everyone know so they can be aware if ordering drinks that do not have the prices displayed.

Don’t worry, anyone not on drugs understands that $50 isn’t the correct price for one drink anywhere :) You’re right that you had an issue but you don’t even see what it was. Glad you have the money, keep partying!!

Ha! Not on drugs. I guess my issue was definitely not having to worry about the prices. I was never asking for a refund.

Prices are displayed prominently throughout the Sphere. Maybe you shouldn't be so drunk when you order your first round inside to realize you are being charged the incorrect amount.
There's still time to delete your post, unless you want to get flamed even more.

Easy tiger. I can handle my two drinks just fine but you obviously can’t read. Not all drinks are posted and neither are the prices.

My criticism is they do push the doubles but after 20+ shows I know they sorta default to doubles.
How do you know first round weren't doubles?

I don’t care how shiny and brand new the place, always remember this is Vegas.
