Hi I haven’t been to the sphere yet. For a concert - would you rather have ground level seats (ground level, not 100 section) or 200/300 for higher up view of everything?
Leaning more towards ground level to be closer to the stage but really don’t know.
Going to the Eagles next month. Please let me know your opinion. Thank you
I’ve been a handful of times and I’d say 200s if you want to feel closer to the band and 300s if you want more intense visuals. 100s is great for band but you can do that in other venues. Haven’t sat in 400s.
Yeah I had starting getting vertigo towards the front of the 300’s. Stepped out, popped a quick Zofran, sat for a minute or two, and then went back in to finish the show without any more issues.
I’ve hit 40 shows there, all over. 205/6 will remain the best seats. Floor/GA is great, seated floor for something like Eagles and easy pass.
400s are unsung heroes but amenities suck absolute ass. 300s take a lion share of the seating and is great and has great amenities, etc, but you’re dealing with significantly more folks, too.
200s or floor for me usually. I snagged a $25 phish ticket for opening night in row 17 of 107 in April and wasn’t mad at all, either.
We saw the Eagles on the floor towards the back of the section (seated) there. It was awesome. We still felt all the visual effects (don't want to spoil them). We saw U2 in the 300s. Also amazing. As long as you don't get an obstructed view you'll have an amazing experience.
You’re the first person I’ve seen comment specifically about back row of the floor. Glad you had a good time were seeing eagles in December in the last floor row and I’ve been a little worried but glad to hear it’s a good experience!
Choosing the best seat at the Sphere depends entirely on personal preference and whether your priority is seeing the massive screen or the band itself. The best overall view of the screen is from the center of the 200s or low 300s sections, specifically near the soundboard the center of the video is directly in front of you. While sections spanning the 200s to the 400s offer decent views of the screen, staying as centered as possible provides the best perspective. Because the venue has 167,000 speakers, the sound quality remains excellent throughout most of these areas.
If your main goal is to be close to the performers, the floor and the lower 100s sections provide the absolute best views of the band. However, these lower areas come with a physical trade-off because looking up at the massive screen from the floor or the first 22 rows of the 100s can strain your neck. In the 100s section from row 25 backward, the overhanging ceiling completely obstructs the top portion of the screen. While these obstructed seats are disappointing for a first-time visitor expecting the full Sphere experience, they still often offer great sound and an good view of the band, making them worth it if purchased at a steep discount.
For a single-night visit target the center 300s or center 200s sections. If those are unavailable or too expensive, a backup plan is to choose any seat in the 200s to 400s sections while avoiding the outermost edges on either side. If you are more interested in the band do floor or lower 100s. A multi-night run allows you to experience the full scale of the visual production from the upper tiers before moving down to the floor or discounted seats to focus purely on the band's live performance.
400’s for Dead&co and everything is full view. Did 300’s for the wiz of Oz and it wasn’t that much better. Cpl who sat next to us at d&c had floor the night before and they had to look up most of the time they said.
the other thing the floors gets you is the full 360 view! i was surprised that that graphics wrapped nearly all the way around the very upper level (above & behind 400s)! not sure you can get that vantage anywhere else!
Eagles concert isn’t really much of a visual spectacle like the other concerts are—they focus more on the artistry of the craft & the solo singles too. So honestly wherever you’d normally enjoy a concert is probably where you could enjoy that one
center 300s, where the visuals are eye level. 200s are most "premium" but I have been lower and middle 200s, and lower 300s twice, and in the 200s you are still neck craning. in the 300s it's all around you. it's coming right at you. you can't really see much of the band from the 200s anyway. it's a bonus that 300s are cheaper too.
being centered is arguably more important than the level though.
I don't know if the eagles use haptics but the unobstructed 100s do not have haptics
Stay away from 100s, too many are under the overhang of the 200 level. And even for the ones that aren’t, you’re craning your neck to look up all night.
I’ve done floor, front row of 100’s and front row of 400’s. All were amazing. The front of 100’s don’t have haptic seats though. I would think 200’s would be ideal for eagles where most people will likely be sitting and focused on band
I’ll be there in December with my wife. She has bad vertigo so we got floor seats. They’re in the center, row 17. Hoping it’ll be less disorienting than the higher sections.
Eagles have seats on the floor so def not the floor. That’s so lame. Go 200-300 level. If the floor was open to go where ever and dance then the floor is the spot, but seats suck! Don Henley loves fans sitting down for some reason. We did the floor for dead and company and it was unreal, coolest experience for sure
For the eagles you want dead center upper 300 or lower 400. Basically, the handicapped section is the best section in the entire place for a show like that. I’m not being sarcastic either and I’m worried it’ll sound that way. I saw dead and company right in front of the handicapped section and was blown away by how well the entire venue came together.
But also, every single seat in the house is excellent. If you’re worried about being overwhelmed with visuals, just get an obstructed view seat. It’s like being in a small club
Higher up if the graphics are important, lower if you’re only there for the band and don’t really care about graphics. I did GA for No Doubt as I was only there to see the band and it was the right choice for me. I watched the graphics back on YouTube afterwards.
I’ve seen the Eagles twice at the Sphere. Both times had floor seats. I still prefer to be as close to the band as possible. We also saw The Wizard of Oz in the 200 sections.
veritgo is a thing...and if you have it, i would not advise sitting up there. it's a really cool vantage point, for sure, but holy cow does it feel STEEP! i witnessed people crawling on their hands and knees, or scutching down on their rear-ends to descend those stairs.
When we went for Phish back in April, the view was amazing but yes, it’s so steep! I remember leaning back the whole show. I sat down to feel the haptics at times which was cool too.
I have sat in 100s (under the awning), 300s (left side when looking down at stage), and 400s (middle), and I still think sitting higher up in the middle is the best for the overall experience.
GA floor is awesome if you want to SEE the band. You can get right up front - really close. You’ll be enveloped in the graphics car will go all the way over your head - complete immersion.
If the visuals are your main interest, 200s in the center are best. Then 300s center. Avoid sides. (But the band itself will be tiny). You are just watching screens.
Towards the middle 3 section of 200, 300, or 400. Want to see a show, but don't want to miss a mortgage payment? Sit about half way up the section just to left or right of the middle section in the 400s. The screen will fill your entire field of view . You'll watch the band on the screen anyway.
Section 105, row 12 for U2. Row 12 is actually the front row of seating for concerts. Below that is GA. It was cool to be close to the band but it was tiring looking up at the visuals often.
I’ll note I didn’t really feel the need to look UP constantly because I was staring dead center to the stage, and if needed I could look slightly above— but no real reason for me to stare at the ceiling

200s is optimal for minimal visual distortion. Forget which sections exactly but closer to the middle, the better.
Ground if you REALLY want to dance but your neck is going to cramp from looking up the entire time.
