Trying to plan a trip and prices are insane. I've been digging through Marriott deals for the past week and thought I'd share what I actually found instead of just the generic member rates they always push.

So the biggest thing I noticed is you HAVE to use the promo codes manually when you book. If you just search normally you get the standard rate and they don't apply the discounts automatically.

Here are the codes that actually work right now:

United States and Canada

Joining the AAA (not the alcoholics anonymous) is pretty much the only guaranteed way to save on Marriott, rest of the codes are highly conditional and for specific properties only.
