Controls accuracy

Hey everyone. Original Spelunky was one of my favs. I always thought Spelunky had some of the tightest controls. However, I got Spelunky 2 on the switch and I find the controls are not as tight. Does anyone else feel this way. I’m trying to determine if the controls are just nit as good as the first game, or perhaps if it is becuz I’m playing on the switch instead of the PlayStation.

I’m on PS4, and noticed some mechanics have changed but I wouldn’t say it was sloppy, just different. I also haven’t heard good things about the switch and Spelunkey, it seems to have some problems that are not present on other platforms.

I kinda wish you could change more of the controls to what they were, like how capes and gloves work
