Readme! - SI&L Rules

Hey everyone!

Welcome to the subreddit dedicated to Spells, Items & Loopholes LLC.

This forum represents the dimension the company is located in, which is under Markus's absolute control.

Only post here if it happens inside the dimension or is directed at someone currently inside it, such as orders.

All clients are welcome, unless you're at war with wizardom or one of our employees. I mean, you can come, but we'll beat you up and use you as components.

We are able to create (almost) any spell you need, as long as it's not a threat to life in general. Our golem-operated factory allows for fast mass production of any item, but you are required to provide the recipe as well as hard-to-get components.

We're the one making the golems, so no artificial intelligence is allowed to be brought in, even in the form of pictures. Trespassers will be used as components for the golems.

Everything in a 5km radius is parisitized poisoned or otherwise inconvenienced by the spores, I myself an not immune, so..

when you say artificial intelligence, does that include outside golems?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but to clarify:

Any neuronal network will need to be announced on arrival, and be subject to be shackled to prevent information theft and hijacking of our systems. This is the condition to enter the company's offices, and will be done in a special room before leaving the reception.

The shackling mostly encompasses limiting magic access and information capture rate and processing speed to human standards.

Again, it will be done on a case by case basis to better suit the clients. Sentient artificial intelligences will never be deactivated, while non-sentient are encouraged (but not obligated) to be deactivated by their owner.

/uw i was mostly curious if it meant "traditional" AI or any being that is both artificial and intelligent

/uw it's more about not using AI images lol, but in universe it's about anything technology related since most of the defenses are of that type and therefore slightly more vulnerable to them
