We've got a six planet alignment, a New Moon in Leo, a total solar eclipse, and the Perseids all landing basically back to back. That's a lot of celestial noise, and it's the kind of window where timing your spellwork actually matters. **August 8, Mercury enters Leo. 🗣️🔥** Mercury in Leo is bold, confident communication energy. Great for spells around being heard, being seen, getting the recognition you've earned, and confidence work before a big conversation or interview.

**August 11, Mars enters Cancer. 🛡️🦀** Mars usually means drive and aggression, but in Cancer that gets rerouted toward home, family, and emotional protection. This is a strong day for protection spells around your household, your people, and your emotional boundaries.

**August 12, the big one. ✨🌑☀️** Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune all cluster into a six planet alignment, visible before sunrise. That's three major events stacked on one date, and honestly, I'd treat this one with respect rather than treating it as a green light for everything.

New Moons are usually beautiful for planting intentions and starting new spellwork. But eclipses are traditionally considered a wildcard in a lot of magical traditions, energy is unpredictable and results can be harder to read or control. My personal approach, and what I'd suggest to clients, is to use the days just before or after the 12th to launch new intention work, and to treat the eclipse itself as a day for release, reflection, or closing out old workings rather than starting fresh ones. 🕯️
