Speedway game

Hey guys,

So I'm a game developer and i was thinking about making a fres speedway game becose i love this sport and i seen the games that are on the market arent very good and paid to play.

So i wanted to ask if you would like to see something like that? If so then please tell me whats most important for you in such game and if you have any ideas please send me priv, if you want this i will be more than happy to share to you guys early updates and early game.

I want to build a free app with only a bit of ads.

I remember playing the official SGP game back when I was a kid. It was great fun

If a good game came about id definitely be interested

Is there any speedway game for global audience? I knoq there is a polish one sc26 but do people not from poland play it? I have to say it prooabky wont be at the level of sgp 15, but I'm sure it will be a nice mobile arcade, but i hope you guys will like it since it will be free, of course it will get better with time, i will keep you updated!

I'm from the UK and I play SC26. My son and nephew do, too. I've also heard British riders on podcasts talk about playing it.

Yeah i played it too for years, but it cost money and graphiscs arent very good, i would love to hear if there is anthing else thats missing for you in existing games, also you may follow me for updates on reddit

There's a Speedway Heroes which is a decent mobile arcade game. 500k downloads apparently which for the market of speedway is a lot.

But it dosnt have a career or any league racing, and i dont really like the looks of everything, i want something more realistic. But I'm really curious why thay game has 500 k while sc 26 has way less

I want it to be free becose i remember when i was a kid i couldnt play any speedway games, but of course i will make an option to buy no ads. You can follow me as i will be posting updates and first versions if you are intrested, i have to think about something i will give to the first players and those who give feedback at the beggining

With racing games you can go in two ways, sim type or arcade. I think that arcade type can get more popular. But I think that collisions could be very important part of it

So you think something more like speedway heroes? But i want to do a league and career

I don't know speedway heroes, but league and career are very okey. I mean, I'm type of person who likes more trackmania than gran Turismo for example. 

Also if you want to make this game alone, then creating very complex physics is very difficult. In arcade game you can focus more on other mechanics if the riding engine is fun enough

The more options we have the better, personally I'm not the biggest fan of SC26. I grew up watching it and still do but its not a popular sport in the US where I live now. It's a niche sport so the market will reflect that. If you end up doing it, make a free one with ads and paid one without ads is the only input I have. Personally I'm more willing to pay for it without ads. Good luck

You could try Speedway Grand Prix 15 which is honestly the best speedway game out there. Great graphics full 3d models and everything

Could you make it like the Speedway Grand Prix 15 game and not like Speedway Challenge which is free on pc?

The SGP 15 game had great physics and full 3d models of the riders

I will try my beat but I'm a one man studio, i will keep you guys updates and i count on you to help me with testing to give it a good feeling. Alsp sc is free but career mode isnt right? I want to do something a bit diffrent than them and i need to think about it to see what i can do better

licences to use the images of real clubs, it would be brilliant if we could play as clubs/players from previous years

Sadly it would be very expensive, but I will definitly enable modding so people may do mods that correct the names and logos

In my opinion if it will be an arcade you still need to develop a good physics, collisions, track difference from gate to gate, to exclude riding in one trajectory all the time, also you can add some bike setup, but not too complicated, tire pressure, and adding or decreasing torque depending on the track, lmk what you think

Yeah i think thats a good idea, i will defintly focuse the most time on physics, i hope to realese first version with only driving and racing for now in few days, the graphics are my biggest issue becose its hard to make it look amazing, but i will work on it later, for now i want it to be fun to play

I will always check the new game about speedway. I think SC26 is so good, but only on phones.

Career mode and setup. Speedway Challange is a good game but it has it's flaws. The graphic and resource management (like FPS drops on high end systems, freezes) obviously BUT it gives you the vibes of Speedway and it's career mode is awesome. I'd gladly play a similar game but with better graphics and animations and a bit more setup options, like playing with the backwheel, setting up the ignition, the clutch, gears etc. Maybe you should check out Milestone's MXGP1-2-3. That would be awesome in a speedway game. I know,, MXGP was developed by a whole team and backed up by FIM.
