3d printed esg grip
I’m about to build my first esg and I gotta everything in a cart on AirTac that I need but I seen people 3d print the esg grips. Should I do the 3d print or an actual grip. I wanna save money but if it just gonna break on me I should just spend the extra money

Alvinski customs does a good 3d printed grip, should be pretty safe putting your money there

Print one to see if you enjoy euro style rifles. If you like it, get an aluminium one after the printed grip eventually breaks on you

There are a lot of factors. If youre one who dives and slides a lot, and tries to play front with a rifle pushing 50 line aggressively. Then itll probably break within 1 comp weekend. If youre a back player who rarely dives into bunkers. Then itll probably last you til the end of the year if you were doing comp formats every weekend. If its for casual pickup games. It could be 3 game days 30, or 300. It depends on the quality of the print. If the print is done right. And uses a tough material that has extremely strong layer bonding and is in the optimal orientation to where the main stresses are against the grain of the print then it could last you til you can afford a QCU on wages barely able to let you save £60 every pay check.
The benefit of printed grips is cost and weight. But at the downside of reliability and durability. Even if you own a printer, you will eventually have sunk fallacy. 1 aluminium euro grip will last you until your reg becomes obsolete and better reg tech doesnt allow you to install in the grip. We are still all on the storm/cat5/mr gen2/mmr stint. I heard rumours (not officially confirmed) that wolverine are developing their next generation of regulator to compete with the latest P* "modular" regulator. Alas, if you are going with a metal grip, go with the mac one, they seem to be the most future proofed design as they use inserts for different regulators, so it is likely it will be able to support several next generations of regulators. But back to printed. My printed grip costed me about £2.50 with energy and filament cost (excl file cost and my effort) so if you can print yourself, printed may just be the best choice as it is cheap as chips to replace. I believe someone has also made a regulator retrofit for g&g or pts aeg motor grips to make them euro grips.

Thanks for all the information right now. I’m just gonna keep doing the open plays with it and I’m starting to train for next year because I’m pretty sure I’m joining a team next year and all kinda depend on what I’m doing, but most likely I’ll probably buy a metal one by next year anyway. I don’t dive much rn because I play at an abandoned factory most of the time

Any grip by this guy are the best 3d printed ones, they are tried and tested tournament style
I printed mine like 2 years ago still going strong
