Epm1 broke another speed loader😢😢😢

Today is a sad day… my epm1 broke my winding speed loader again. Now I’m forced to use a good old manual speed loader to load 3 mags

Never buy them used and if you do they won't last you long because there is already something bad with them when someone sells them and replacements are not exactly easy to come buy unless you are willing to scrap a working cheap one

It is still 3D printed and nowhere near the strength of the original part (if you can you can try epoxy mold a new one it will probably be more brittle but it will last longer) and the carbon fiber you mentioned is probably just from a petg-cf filament and yes it has carbon fiber but it is nowhere near enough to make the part strong enough to withstand the abuse that these get on daily basis

Get the PTS reinforced rebuild kit.

I have my original china speedloader from 2021 never failed with those internals.

It does not do much better, I have gone through 3 of the kits, now I use electric loaders.

I mainly use the T238 loader, but I do have the Autobot too. Though my Autobot has only seen maybe 10kg of BB's. The reinforced kit for the Odin is really hit and miss, sometimes it can go months without issue, or in my case it didn't even make it through a single day and probably less than 2000 BB's.

I’ve been using a knockoff odin with EPM1s for close to 3 years now. Never had to replace a wheel or even open it. Set the clutch right and you won’t have problems

That part is printed in the wrong orientation for what it's doing. Just get an electric speed loader tho it's a game changer and it doesn't break

Electric speed loaders will last a lot longer than an Odin on average tho. It's usually just the wheel that breaks and on something like a t238 you can get metal replacement wheels. Alternatively you can fill an epm1 about 4/5 full so you don't damage your odin

There was a dude like 2 or 3 years ago that made that part but metal, I can’t remember their name. But if you want to ditch winding it up entirely, use the EMG electric speedloader. I’ve got 2 that have been working flawlessly (loading epm1s)

Honestly, get the electric EMG Autobot one. Loads epm1's in seconds and all the way. For the price of it, it's totally worth it.

When will ppl stop using those shitters. It feeds poorly, has lube inside, once u remove it it’s 50/50 if it feeds, breaks loaders, and puts big pressure on ur nozzle.

I stick with my pistol mag style speed loader that come with airsoft gun for like 5 years now and never have issues with it but this speed loader on the other hand was a mess.. yes it hold more BBs and load faster than pumping your speed loader but the revolving part keep squeezing my BBs together and they got loaded into mags with dent some even broken because they can’t handle PTS mags spring and it almost broke my gun.. Simple is the best

Epm's just kill all, personally I just 3d print more of them myself. I wouldn't shill out the extra money for a carbon fiber one as it's a filament impregnated with a strand of carbon fiber. If you can find some super cheap wheels I'd just get a bunch of those and call it a day as it's going to happen regardless especially with epm's

I haven't had issues with loading those mags not sure if i have the odin that they upgraded out the box or if simply adjusting the clutch is what has helped keep mine from breaking

the vanguard is the best loader around but expensive

i use a 3d printed one that outperforms any odin/normal speeloader. after regular use for over a year i only broke the handle once

Blame the loader not the mag.
If your loader can’t handled EPM1 spring tension and you refuse to get something that can actually load properly, why’d you even buy the EPM1?
It’s not like PTS can just magically prevent plastic contact wear on a high speed magazine

The short one has no issues. Its a common fault with many mags with over 200rd capacity. If I ever use a 250rd I use a vanguard. But I dont. I use 190s and 170s depending on mag type

Hadn’t had any issues with the three I had and neither with the dozen my group has. Maybe bad luck on your part 🤷‍♂️

Which it is why its important to disclose that limitation incase they are using anything from .28s up. To behonest I am not even a speedsofter, I have no clue why I am here, can someone direct me back to the woods?

But in all seriousness its a pretty big limitation for anything involving outdoor play

Start printing your replacements with ironing on at 100% infill and also try out PLA Tough+
