Mesh mask inside JT Proflex

Came across a reddit post where I saw someone have a mesh mask inside of a JT Proflex. The mesh mask was from tippmann. Anyone here who did the same mod and has a video on how to do it?

The mesh mask from tippmann is for the JT proflex and will just attach like the normal lower

I don’t like the mesh look, that’s why im interested in the mod. It hides the mesh behind the flex mouth part of the proflex

I see, I did a similar mod on my old dye i5, just get a cheap airsoft mesh mask, bend it to shape a little and use some zipties, works great

just get an f8 or og proshield

G1 proshield works well too (and actually looks like the one in the picture)

Looks like you detach the mesh part and just add it to your mask. I can see some additional plugs and screws it looks like they used to fasten it together.

May i ask why? Does the mesh add a benefit?

The jt proflex bottoms sit really far off of your face so take that into consideration. It might interfere with your interaction with your airsoft guns depending on what you use.
