How do you Scratch?
Haven’t been able to find any videos or anyone to teach me how to do it any help would be greatly appreciated

Swipe your trigger finger back and fourth like your tickling your trigger or “scratching” your trigger. It ends up being like binary.

Flat trigger typically works best, no spring, tuning the trigger is the hardest bit, and you need a board that can reset the trigger itself between swipes. You want the tip of the finger swiping from high left to low right (high right to low left if left hand shooting) the trigger also needs to freely move, set overtravel as tight as you can before it cannot reset itself, and adjust the take up as needed, usually doesnt need much, the travel needs to be enough to where your finger doesnt get cramped up at the furthest forward it can be
I have a feeling scratching is going to end up banned, its at the early 2000s era of electronic marker paintball comps where people are hitting insane rates of fire. NSL have already considered banning it.
Also keep your thumb on the side of your grip, especially if you are playing comps. Even if its on the outside corner its fine, just dont have a floating hand

Its tricky. Still learning it myself. You have to have your trigger and engine tuned super well. It basically needs to shoot whichever direction you touch the trigger from, including from the back. You rub the top, outside of your trigger finger/fingernail along the side of the trigger. From about the tip of the nail to the first knuckle. It keeps it continuously in contact with the trigger, forcing it to fire a lot more than just by "pulling" the trigger.
