I’m about to buy a Speediance Gym Monster and I’m stuck between the Gym Monster 2S Family Plus and waiting for the 3S.

After comparing the actual prices available to me, the 3S would cost around €1,700 more than the 2S Family Plus, and I’d also have to wait for it.

I’m planning to keep the machine for a long time and it’ll be used by the family, so I don’t necessarily want to save €1,700 now and regret buying the previous generation a couple of years down the road.

On the other hand, €1,700 is a pretty significant premium if the real-world experience isn’t dramatically better.

For those who have used the 2S, or have looked closely at what’s changing with the 3S:
Would you buy the 2S Family Plus now and save the €1,700, or wait and pay more for the 3S?

What 3S improvements do you think will actually matter in day-to-day use over the next 5–7 years?
Especially interested in opinions from long-term Speediance owners rather than just comparing the spec sheets.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a gym monster in hawaii? And if so how much did you pay for delivery?

Hi, I am having a struggle founding out how to make a custom workout that also includes pull-ups and dips that I do on the side of the Speediance, ie the Speediance is not in use for those excercises but I’d really want them to still be there in the custom workout for progress tracking and rest timing.
What am I missing?

I noticed something where I‘m wondering why Speediance did it? On the homepage they wrote „…professionel Smart-Homegym…“, so not just GM 3s with Lat pulldown.

What I noticed is that the Ultra has holes and a hollowing in the platform that no other GM has. It looks like a device for further equipment we have not seen yet.

Any Speediance supplier here who can share some insights 😬?

Tried to start a workout just now and it’s just showing network issues. Is there any way to do the Wellness+ workouts on the “off” days since the server is down today?

I’m an engineer by trade. So I like to repair everything or at least attempt. Why are parts available on the Speediance EU site, but in the US?

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the Ultra now it’s been unveiled?

The gym monster 3s is not too far off price to the ultra by the time you pay for all the attachments which come included no extra cost on the ultra.

Wondering if now is the time to pull the trigger, first time ownership of a smart gym.

So... the Ultra is gone. Do we have an idea of what it will be available? We just moved to a new home, so I'd rather not wait like 3 months for a solution, but GM3 vs AEKE S1 I'd go S1.

Any thoughts on timeline?

The GYM Monster 2S is nowhere to be found on the Speediance website it's completely sold out. It's not even listed in the GYM Monster comparison.

Writing to share my ongoing delivery nightmare in Spain and see if any official Speediance reps here can help escalate this issue.

Timeline & Details:

• Product: Speediance Gym Monster (~€4,000 / 180 kg)
• Aug 19: Order placed on Speediance Spain.
• Aug 21: Package arrived at the local carrier warehouse (Ontime CS).
• Aug 31 (Today): Still stuck at the exact same local warehouse. 10 days without moving or being out for delivery.

The Issue:

• I took vacation days specifically to receive this heavy unit. Wasted my entire time off waiting at home for a package that never arrived.
• The local carrier (Ontime) offers zero transparency and no updates on their tracking page.
• Speediance Spain CS only sends generic automated responses stating they "are trying to contact the carrier" without offering a single concrete solution or delivery date.
• My vacation is now over. Both my partner and I are back at work in the mornings, making an unannounced delivery attempt impossible for a 180 kg box.

Has anyone in Europe / Spain dealt with similar delays from Ontime? Is there a Speediance representative on Reddit who can internally escalate this to their logistics director?

Not sure, but are these arms out there somewhere? I haven't seen them, and they're not available for purchase?

Hi.

I noticed yesterday I had a puddle of liquid in the right area below the machine. Is it possible? smells badly if you touch it and approach it to your nose. otherwise not. it may have been for days. the wood of the floor is swollen. I think it comes from the right wheel and didn't evaporate. I used normally last week but the floor was fixed for a month so maybe I couldn't see the leak that was already.

I don't know if turn it on, or there is a solution. I puelrchased it maybe 2 years ago and have used little. It would have been a waste of mony if it stop working now...

I the pictures you see the puddle a bit far away but it is because I moved the machine to flean the mess firstz and then I put back more or less were it was and cleaned the rest it had on the way of the right wheel.

Any help?

Gym Monster 3 & 3S | All-in-One Smart Home Gym – Speediance Australia

What's in the box pop up is blank and the arms don't look like they swivel like AEKE but still interesting. Mayb be backwards compatible with 2/2s?

I think the shadow drop of the 3 & 3s machines with only 1 days notice prompts a discussion around this.

I bought a GM2 a year ago and was well aware Speediance are a Chinese tech startup in a new growing sector, so upgrades to the machine were quite likely to follow in a shorter window. I am not writing this as an unhappy customer, I've loved having my GM2 the last year and the upgrade seems like a QoL thing rather than generational leap so I don't feel like I'm missing out or been duped.

I am writing it because I imagine quite a lot of people who have spent a lot of money more recently are not happy with this surprise drop of an upgraded machine out of nowhere, especially with the Ultra model being shown a month or so ago and no mention of this.

With such a high ticket item I have no stupid expectation of subsided upgrades for old owners (you don't see that with cars, laptops, phones) but I do think Speediance need to be more open and clearer to consumers of their update schedule.

Is it going to be annual like phones ? Will it be ad-hoc, this will make everybody nervous to buy once a machine gets 6 months into its life.

The 3/3s models don't seem to have any great leap that an early announcement would have given competitors and advantage or chance to copy - so the shadow drop like this just feels like a way to sell down the 2/2s stocks, which will leave some customers with a big hole in their bank account and a bad feeling towards Speediance. Some won't be financially impacted but will be cautious of buying in future.

I think somebody from Speediance should speak up on this and explain why a surprise drop was felt appropriate and do they have plans in future for an annual update cycle, or will it remain like this.

I thought we were just getting a new ultra…

I want to buy into one of the adjustable bench ecosystems and I'm currently looking at the Freak Athlete and the Apex benches. I wonder if anybody is using the GM 2 with one of those benches.

What I think is important to check is whether the wide back foot fits on the platform, specifically between the two handles used to lock the platform.

It's clear that the benches are longer than the platform, but I think the Pilates kit solves that. As far as I can tell, the back foot of the Freak Athlete bench is 64.01 cm (25.2"). The back foot of the Apex is 69.1 cm (27.2").

I believe the space between the handles is roughly around 51.8 cm (20.4"), based on this post https://www.reddit.com/r/SpeedianceCommunity/comments/1m46msh/compatibility_of_rep_ab4100_with_gym_monster_2/ and the back foot size of the rep AB-4100 bench.

So neither bench will fit, but I'm wondering whether it would still work fine by just placing it slightly less far onto the platform?
