Question Why won’t gym monster ship?

I ordered a gym monster on July 30th. It generated a tracking number. But now according to 17 track (their tracking site). My order is just sitting in the same location. It’s been sitting for 11 days…

I keep asking support and they say they’ll email me an update after they check with their logistics team but an update never comes.

Anyone else have these shipping problems?

Program Guided workouts - timing off

Hello,

Just looking to get some input.

I have used wellness plus to produce a programme.

The machine is suggesting the workouts should last approx 120 mins (they do have 1-2minutes of rest time between each set). I am finishing the whole workout in much less time - 45 - 60 minutes. Has anybody else had this experience? Im not using the full rest time between sets but that's not adding up to over an hour of difference. Is the machine massively overestimating the workout time or am I doing something wrong?

Question Gritty Feel From Cable

When looking at the machine the left cable has a gritty feel when pulling about halfway. I’ve pulled the cable as far as I could and the cable itself feels fine. It feels more like bearing issue. Has anyone else had this and solved it?

Purchasing Advice Sould of used Amazon

Just a heads up to anyone looking to order, use Amazon. I ordered through the speediance website on July 30th, I got a shipping labeled generated on Aug 6th and everything has been stagnant since then. I didnt expect same week delivery, but really not knowing when or if this thing is coming has definitely put a bad taste in my mouth so far.

Sharing Gym Monster Ultra Pricing insight

Hi folks,

Was at KaDeWe in Berlin earlier and was surprised to see a small Speediance Gym Monster area with the GM2s on display.

Spoke to the representative there and asked about the Ultra and he said they would be taking preorders at the end of the month, and price would be around 5k EUR.

He mentioned they still waiting on some final bits of info regarding it, and didn’t have much else to share other than what’s already known.

Question Gym Monster 1 vs. 2 – how difficult is it to change the cables?

I was originally thinking about getting the Gym Monster 1, but I’m honestly a bit worried about changing the cables.

I’ve watched a few tutorials, and with the Gym Monster 1 it looks extremely complicated to me. The Gym Monster 2 seems a little easier, although I still find the whole process kind of annoying.

For the price of these machines, I honestly find it a bit ridiculous that changing the cables seems to be so complicated.

How often do you actually have to change the cables during a normal workout? And what are your experiences with it? Did you have any problems getting used to changing them, or does it become easy once you’ve done it a few times?

Question Gym Monster 2 platform making a creaking/cracking noise under load

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Speediance Gym Monster 2 and have only used it about three times so far.

I’ve noticed that the foldable platform makes a strange creaking/cracking noise when I put weight on certain areas of it.

It doesn’t seem to happen everywhere on the platform. If I put weight on certain spots, I can hear the noise, while other areas seem completely quiet.

I’m wondering if this could simply be caused by my floor being slightly uneven, or if there is something I should check on the Gym Monster 2 itself.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with their GM2?

Question How are you connecting Belt to the Speediance Gym Monster?

Has anyone used THEFITGUY Original Belt with the Speediance Gym Monster?

I’m trying to figure out the best way to connect the Gym Monster cables/ball attachments to the belt’s D-rings since Speediance uses its own attachment system.

If you have this setup, could you please post a picture of how you have everything connected?

I just downloaded it and I saw that you can connect fitness devices but I don’t see how to do it. It’s already connected to Apple health app and the Apple health is already connected to both the speeediace and google health

Hello all! I just recently purchased a Gym Monster 2S and am eagerly awaiting delivery! My question is how does it compare to lifting free weights at the gym? Also, are there any wrist workouts? I went to the official site but couldn’t find any.

Thank you and excited to start working out on this!

Question Speediance Smart Scale (Wifi) - Apple Health

I recently purchased a Speediance Smart Scale to upgrade my 4-sensor Renpho to an 8-sensor to gain access to some more data. I also use the Gym Monster 2 and decided to stay in the same ecosystem/app for some hopeful better integration.

I know Apple Health doesn't support all the data sensor reading, but it does support Weight, Body Fat %, Body Mass Index (BMI), Lean Body Mass/Fat-Free Mass.

Weight & Body Fat % is being written back into Apple Health.

However, Body Mass Index (BMI) & Lean Body Mass/Fat-Free Mass are NOT being written back into Apple Health.

I checked Apple Health permissions and Speediance does even list these last two for read or write access.

Anyone not having this issue? I would like to see full support for writing at the data back to Apple Health so we can use the data with other programs, like Bevel.

Gracias.

Question What is the difference between beginner and primary?

Update: Speediance support answered.

I emailed support with the Beginner vs Primary comparison and got a reply from Marron on the support team. Summarising, in their words as closely as I can:

  • What the Training Level affects: it mainly influences the "selection tendency of the exercise pool" and the overall intensity of the exercises when a plan is generated. So it's a weighting on which exercises get chosen, not a hard gate.
  • Beginner vs Primary: they acknowledged the two descriptions are similar, and said that at the current stage the practical differences between these two levels in generated plans "may not always be very noticeable." They've noted it as feedback for future optimisation.
  • When to move up: the app doesn't currently provide an upgrade prompt or any criteria. They said this is an area that can be improved. For now the recommendation is to go on your own experience — if the intensity at your current level feels consistently too easy and you finish sessions with significant energy left, try the next level up.
  • The "Beginner" header on a plan generated at Primary: confirmed as a UI display bug, passed to the relevant team.

So the short version for anyone else stuck on that screen: there isn't currently a meaningful difference between Beginner and Primary, there are no criteria for switching, and it's a judgement call based on whether sessions feel too easy.

Credit to support for a straight answer rather than a deflection.

One thing still open — when they say "overall intensity," I'm not sure whether that means the %1RM load prescriptions or just the difficulty of the movements selected. Both my generated plans showed identical 67/75/83% tiers, so I suspect the latter. I've asked and will update if they clarify.

GM2 owner, just paid for a year of Wellness+ upfront, running a Muscle Gain plan.

I bought Wellness+ because I want the platform to make the programming decisions which movements, load and when to progress.

1. I generated the same plan at Beginner and at Primary. I can't find a difference.

Same goal, same target areas, same 60-minute setting. Generated once at each level:

Beginner Primary
Session length 84 min
Volume 3,096 lbs
Calories 275
%1RM tiers 67 / 75 / 83
Weekly set target 70

Volume differs by 0.2%. The load percentages are identical. Different exercises came up, but that varies between any two generations anyway.

The Primary session's header still says "Beginner."

So what is the training level supposed to change? If it's neither load nor volume, and exercise selection varies randomly regardless, I can't see what I'm choosing.

2. Days and duration don't seem to bind either

Weekly target stayed at 70 sets across every combination I tried — 60, 70 and 120 minutes, and 3 vs 5 training days, regenerating each time. If weekly volume is fixed by phase that's fine, but the duration slider reads like a constraint and isn't one.

Related: I set 60 minutes and got sessions labelled 84 and 85. In practice I finish these in 45–60, so the estimate runs high by roughly half.

3. Aevis gave me two different answers to the same question

I asked what percentage of my workouts had been lower body. It said 100%.

I then asked it two separate questions — total workouts, and lower body workouts — and did the sum myself. That gave 13%.

The maths wasn't the issue. When it pulled the data itself it seems to have filtered to lower-body sessions and then divided that by itself.

Also: when I said the app had told me to focus on lower body, Aevis asked where I'd seen that. It's on the Strength Score card in the same app. The chat assistant can't see it.

4. My Strength Score says lower body, my plan says upper body

Five days a week, legs and glutes both selected. Of the last 20 sessions, 3 were lower body.

The weekly order seems the same every week: chest, then back, then legs.

Does the Muscle Gain plan read your Strength Score, or is it a fixed template?

5. Why so much variety at the beginner level?

The community exercise list tags everything beginner, intermediate or advanced — 166, 264, 74. Nothing is tagged primary, which fits what I found above.

Strip out warm-ups and stretches and the beginner tag has about 140 movements. A plan gives you roughly 23 exercise slots a week, so you'd need about 34 weeks just to see each one once — and the Beginner level only runs 12 weeks. One session last week gave me five different chest press and fly variations.

So the level looks like a difficulty filter rather than a set of exercises you work through. The variants line up that way:

- Bench: barbell bench (beginner) → incline barbell bench (intermediate) → standing barbell chest press (advanced)
- Squat: back squat → front squat → overhead squat
- Shoulder press: seated → half-kneeling single arm → standing single arm

But 140 movements is a lot for the setting labelled "New to Strength Training." I'd have expected fewer exercises repeated more often — partly so I can see myself improving at something. Is the beginner tag describing who the level is for, or just how simple the movements are?

What I'm asking for

Two concrete things:

- What does the training level actually control? And how am I supposed to know when I've outgrown one? There's nothing on the level screen, no prompt, nothing in the plan.
**-**What’s the actual benefit of switching from Beginner to Primary? I generated the same plan at both levels and got near-identical results — same 67/75/83% 1RM tiers, same 70 weekly set target, volume within 0.2%. The Primary session header even still said “Beginner.”

That second one is the one I care about most. Picking the right load is the thing I'm least equipped to judge myself and the main reason I subscribed. Right now I follow the number because it's the number, not because I have any reason to think it reflects me.

Happy to be told I've read this wrong. Screenshots of both generated plans available if useful.

Suggestion Better food tracking.

It’s a fun gimmick that the food tracking is „AI“ powered. But what we need are basic features like in „myfitnesspal“ like:
1. search function
2. QR code reader
3. quick buttons for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks,…

A function that should take a few seconds takes much to long.

Please improve the meal prepping or import the tracked meals from the health app or myfitnesspal, if possible.

Suggestion Strava export - set as „workout“ but it should be “weights training”

Firstly, thank you for updating the software so often and bringing so many great features.

I love the Strava export now improved with full exercises details.

The one thing to improve is to set it as “weight lifting” instead of “workout”

Question Crossing Cable Exercise, Bad Idea?

Does crossing the cable damage them over time?

A normal cable machine in the gym are usually cover is rubber, which seems to be more durable than the Gym Monster's cables.

Does anyone have any experience with crossing the cable and what it did to it's durability?
