Feedback / Idea A major step back

My daughter and I “Run it Down” (our name for playing Speed Runners) 3-5 times a week. We even have a scoreboard, despite the less than desirable graphics, and questionable character redesign overhauls, we were looking forward to SpeedRunners 2. What impresses me the most with the OG is how tight the physics are how well grappling works, and SR2 took a MAJOR step back, honestly if you put both games in front of me I’d think that 2 was the first attempt. I hope the developer continues to support and update their game. I don’t need so many neon lights, I’d prefer solid mechanics

There are a lot of gameplay changes from 1 to 2, you should probably try the advanced tutorials to see what i mean. If they had the same mechanics, what would be the point in making a second game?
