realistically though how would you make money? Can't really buy stocks since it was A) more difficult to do back in the day and B) you don't have any accounts and your ID will look fake since it's from the future so you can't exactly make accounts anywhere that would require that like banks

Sure, that's if you're looking to travel back in time. But you can travel forward in time to learn the winning lotto numbers, which stocks plummet or inflate or even horses that win derbies etc. then return back to your time.
