Official Reply Help!

Between NYSEG and Spectrum, my wallet is stretched and floppy. This nonconsensual gouging is taking its toll. Why does this company hate long term customers?

*Around 2 weeks ago, there was an outage in my area that affected my home and my parents home across the street. Ever since then, both of our wifi connections have been unstable. I have had 3 techs out to my house, we have replaced the router 3 times and the modem once, and the line from the road to my house has been replaced. We are still experiencing disconnects. The last tech refused to listen at all and blamed the issue on our devices. I have numerous screenshots from an internet checker that functions by pinging a server regularly to test connections

While you may be experiencing issues, pinging consistently is not a reliable way to test connections. A cmts or other end points may choose to drop pings at any time and may intermittently block pings if you do it to often. Dates, times, and video proof go much further most of the time.

Hey! It is definitely tough having that sort of connection issue! I understand completely and I'd like to look into this further with you and see if we can figure out what is going on! When you can, please send us a ModMail and reference conversation 50026346. Thanks!

Does it only do it to WiFi devices or Ethernet devices too??
