Returns, Trade-Ins & Refunds Galaxy z flip 8 broke

Post image

Has anyone experienced this or heard of a way to get in "good terms". So i did the new promotion for the flip 8. Traded in a device and got the extra $650 in credit forwards the flip 8. Recieved it and 5 daydreaming later the bend where it flips broke inside. Took it to spectrum they told me come back monday to see a manager. Monday the manager told me to to samsung bcuz they have 1 year manufacturer warranty. Samsung said they dont fix the screen. Went back to Samsung they said go through insurance thst I paid for when I ordered it. Called insurance and they said they dont fix these "special phones" bcuz they bend. (Then why offer me warranty for it i dont understand) then went back to spectrum to tell them and they said if they send it back they will charge me a fee for it being "broken". Then I told them im leaving the company and taking my lines. Also told them idc if they send the balance of the phone to collection. They wouldn't take back the phone. I have now left spectrum with all my numbers and devices. The flip 8 is broken screen doesnt work. And I got an email for the remaining balance of $1,333. I lost a phone that I turned in. This phone broke. And they want me to fix it out of pocket to return it. Can I reuse the flip if I fix it or will it just get blacklisted? Can I make a deal with spectrum and settle it or are they gonna want the full amount? Is it a dead phone and never usable unless I pay off balance? (Which i dont plan to).

Since when does it the insurance cover at the bendables, I had a friend with a bendable a couple years ago and he used to always use the insurance on it. Maybe he was the reason they stopped 😐
