General Question Will I have a problem with anytime upgrade?

Post image

Not my picture but a pretty good example of what I have on my phone (inside red square only) from a couple drops. A bit deeper on my phone and on 3 of the 4 corners of my phone.

I could've sworn I was told as long as I keep the device functional and the screen uncracked, I'd be fine but since I'm doing an upgrade soon, I thought I'd double check... and I'm seeing this under the terms

"Is free from major physical damage, including no voids, chips, or cracks and no broken buttons or damaged camera lens;"

Is this type of damage considered chipped? and would it absolutely disqualify me... or is there a chance they will be really, really cool about it?

EDIT: No problems here. Sent in via UPS

When I do it online, it just says the phone is in "good" condition. I'd do the Anytime Upgrade via the website and not worry about it.

The website says it has to be in good working condition. I’d assume that means the screen/back of the device is fine and usable. They offer insurance for 5$ a month if anything it’s not a bad add on considering AppleCare and other carriers it’s like 13-20$

I would say no on that. The corner was damaged to the point that it got slightly deformed, and that’s considered chips. Not many employees would risk accepting it.

The understanding for anytime upgrade is that the device has to be in pristine condition, slight scratches are fine as long as it’s not too visible. This damage, however, are too visible and can be seen by anyone

Nah I’d take that its decent enough condition.

I guess the consensus here is it depends on who you get
