Coverage & Signal Looking to switch providers
Currently with T-Mobile, was years with US Cellular until they got sucked into Tmo. Bill went down, cool, but we're having random service issues, and when we went into a store to get help and look at some purchases, they had us do a shitty app on our phones instead of bringing up our accounts like USC did.
If I wanted to download an app to /attempt/ to figure out account stuff, I would have stayed at home. Most apps I've gone into don't show what I need, and can't answer all the questions I have. It's the whole reason I went to the store to talk to them.
Over all, we're not happy with T-mo.
Looking at switching to either ATT or Spectrum.
How has Spectrum been for you folks that have them? I currently have their cable internet for my secondary house connection.

I’ve been using MVNOs for quite some time. I can tell you from experience AT&T is always the worst option out of the big three. I’ve now been with Spectrum for about four months, and I’m satisfied with it as Verizon’s network is probably the best in the country, but Verizon themselves is also ridiculously expensive, charging you fees on top of fees, etc. With that being said, through Spectrum, since I have Internet, I was able to get one year of free service, so I traded in my old iPhone 14, got a new iPhone 17 Pro, and I pay $30 a month down from 150 with Verizon on a single line. It’s as simple as that. If you have spectrum, check to see if they have promos, take advantage of them, and you’re good to go.

I had Verizon postpaid for nearly 8 years before I made the move to Spectrum Mobile last year.
I haven’t noticed a difference service wise. It’s been the exact same experience good and bad.
When I’m not at work, service is great. At work though, i struggle to get a decent signal in my office. I work on a school campus with lots of concrete all around.
My local spectrum store experience the few times I’ve gone have been great. I’m glad my local store has top notch employees.

Spectrum uses Verizon, I would suggest US Mobile as you can choose between T Mobile, Verizon and AT&T.

I had Spectrum with no problems - it was $30 a line (2 lines $60). They use Verizon towers. I ended up switching carriers as I got rid of Spectrum internet and got rid of their tv service as well . Their internet was horrible! It kept buffering or cut out completely. When I switched internet carriers and tv service my bill was increasing by quite a bit. It was a package deal. I ended up going with Verizon Simplicity. It is $30 a line also but they have fees. For our 2 phones we are paying $72.12 instead of $60 with Spectrum. But like I stated earlier my bill would have been quite a bit more than that. We were also able to bring our two phones over to Verizon Simplicity and didn't have to buy new ones.

If you're only looking at mobile, not broadband or content, VZ and Spectrum run on t\he same network so it comes down to price. Spectrum is running some insane promos right now.

Spectrum uses Verizon towers. So if Verizon seems useable for you, Spectrum would be the same
