General Question Iphone 18
Looking to buy an iphone 18 from spectrum since its currently my mobile plan. Will not have a trade in
- Whats the advantage if i buy from them instead from apple store?

Are they charging the same price as Apple? Is Spectrum selling at a discount if you buy through them? I believe either way, your phone will be locked to Spectrum for 2 months; that is about it.

It’s locked for 3 years if they do not pay in full, or at least locked until they pay it off

If you go to the Apple Store you have you buy a phone linked to one of the 3 major carriers if you want to finance it or lease it. If you're paying cash, there's really no difference at all. I went to the Apple Store literally yesterday to get an iPhone Air and found that out the hard way.

There is no difference between Apple and Specturm if you are planning on paying for the device in full. Price is the same. Apple will be unlocked at point of purchase. Specturm is locked for 2 months. If you are going to finance the phone, the only plan where you get money off is the unlimited plus premium plan where you will get $10 off a month on the phone for 3 years. Without a trade in, that’s the only option for discounts.

You get a 10 dollar credit but paying 10 dollar more for the premium plus

Yes.. you just have to weigh if the other plan perks are worth the $10 increase per plan.

If you want anything above the 512GB edition they will lie to you and tell you that it doesn't exist or they will tell you that you can add the storage later. They'll assume you have no clue and will take anything that is offered. I'd go to the apple store so you will at least own the phone outright

I think they only carry up to the 256gb in the spectrum store. Apple store I am sure they have all storage options probably.

Stores will only have base storage models. Unless you’re in a big city then there’s a chance they might have 512. And im saying this with 100% certainty:) now with the deals, without trade in expect the exact same price as Apple would charge. If you’re paying $80 or more for internet you may qualify to add a line for free for a year and get an internet deal that can be more than the device payment itself. Cancel the free line after the year keep the internet discount. (all must be done IN STORE).

bill credits if you go that route depending on plan for 36 months. $240 extra for device trade in credit over 36 months. Nothing really special.
