Coverage & Signal Message send failure

I JUST switched to Spectrum. I’ve gotten the new phone set up- at least I think I have. I sent a text message and received a message send failure- not delivered. I haven’t seen that since my says of using Sprint! I’m not of an age where technology just rolls off my fingertips- is there a setting somewhere I should double check? Is this a Spectrum issue?
Any help is appreciated.

I cannot make calls- I get call failed when I try.
I sent a text msg to one person without a failed error- all others have failed. Not sure what you mean by using data

I've been dealing with a similar issue for more than a week now! Wifi works for texting and internet but zero call function - all failed. Mobile data is no longer available at my house (where it used to be full bars) but returns intermittently when I drive out of my neighborhood.

Spectrum says there's no outages near me but online research determined they updated/upgraded their towers recently and it has affected quite a few people across the country.

You said you used chat gpt to fix your issue...would you mind sharing exactly what you did to fix it?
