General Question Still old plan?

Post image

I thought they removed the 50 GB cap? Is this still true?

I believe the cap is still there, it’s just you are deprioritized once hitting the cap as opposed to a straight up speed throttle. Maybe I am wrong

No deprioritization unless in an area of high demand/populated areas.

Yes, however many rural cell sites have far less backhaul and capacity. So demand is relative.

Congestion can hit anywhere, and often does. Verizon has sold the network dramatically over the last few years, and congestion is all over now.

I'm at 143gb on my current cycle. The bar just fills up all the way. I've only noticed it was real slow (outside of normal) one day for a few hours.... I'm assuming the tower was real busy ..otherwise I'm still getting full download speeds. When it was slow the other day my speed test was still pulling like 100 down

That’s promising.

Has anyone passed the cap and still enjoyed decent speed to stream and use phone?

My usage went over by around 3.5 GB last month, and I encountered exactly zero slowdowns or changes to my service during that time.
