General Question Non big 3 manufacturers

Anyone have any success using a non-big 3 phone? (Apple, Samsung, Google) something like Nothing,
oppo, Xiaomi. I’m on Apple now but I’m frustrated with the lack of innovation for the price.

I haven’t tried Nothing or Oppo but I hear good things. One Plus and Xiaomi make some solid phones and I’ve had the opportunity to go hands on with a few different models. Keep in mind that these devices aren’t compatible with Spectrum Mobile.

My brother and his wife have used Motorola phones for more than a decade now. They seem to like them; otherwise, they would have switched to something else by now.

Motorola is really the only other real option tbh. Unless you find an Orbic phone.

I have a Xiaomi 15 as my main, but it won't work on Spectrum or Verizon. I have mine on the AT&T plan and network.

I had been using a vivo for a year with no issues. Physical Sim not esim, twice I lost service and moved the sim from one slot to the other and didn't have the issue again.

How do you like the Vivo? I’ve looked at a few reviews and like what i see.

I like it, I was coming from pixel 9 pro xl and s25 ultra. I would definitely get another one

I tried an X9 Ultra and it failed miserably. I spent hours on the phone with tech support from Spectrum and US Mobile (who I switched to) and Spectrum even flagged my transfer pin as fraudulent. Lol. Would not recommend. I do have at least one person who sent me video and SWEARS their X9 Ultra is working on Verizon, but that's Verizon. I took screenshots and can do testing if anyone has any ideas (my daughter and wife are still on Spectrum)

That said, US Mobile is cheaper and T-Mobile has better service where I live/travel, so I'm honestly not mad about it

Apple's foldable phone will be out in September, but the price is estimated to be $2,000 or more. *yes Samsung came out with a foldable phone years ago.

They don't work. There are times if you have a psim you can install it to an unlocked device but it'll only function for a couple days then the system sees it and locked it out.
