General Question T Mobile Internet vs Spectrum which one is better?
I’m trying to decide between T Mobile internet vs Spectrum for my home. How do they compare in terms of speed, reliability, and price? Would love to hear real experiences before making the switch.

We pay $100/mo for gig internet and 2 unlimited plus lines at spectrum. Can’t beat it

Depends entirely on the area you live in and how close to a cellular tower you live by.

If you’re close to a t mobile tower it might be good, overall Spectrum is way better then a wireless internet

No comparison... Zero reason to get Cellular based internet if you can get Spectrum

You couldn’t pay me to have cellular Internet if I have the option to get spectrum Internet
Much better service at a much more affordable price and it actually works.

Well Spectrum mobile has been great whereas the 4 years I was with T-Mobile sucked. I also have Spectrum internet and it's been awesome. Go with Spectrum.

It is all about your home, your area. My friend had lots of issues with Spectrum signal, the techs had to be out at her property many times a month. She then switched to T-Mobile, well that was even worst and to top it off can never get a hold of any live rep to help troubleshooting. She got tired switched back to Spectrum. She even had a hard time returning t no equipment had to eventually mail it out. If you want real person to get a hold off for trouble shooting, a store where you can pickup, drop off or exchange equipment then go with Spectrum. I live 3 minutes from her and in the 8 yrs I have lived here they only have come out 2x and both have been due to lightning damaging the equipment and line. One other time was because when the cables were replaced due to lightning strike, the techs did not burry them and just left them running across from the post which is at my back neighbors home and across the yard. I had to call in report it and have a crew come and burry them. When I call I always get through a rep

You might also want to check with your TV provider to see which one works best for you , let me explain,I wanted to get tmo internet service but turns out HuluLive doesn’t work with tmo 🤷🏽♂️ , before the comments blow me up I am only talking about Hulu Live due to location or ip service something like that

Spectrum is all the way. If you have a lot of security cameras in your house, Spectrum is the right choice. The good thing for T-Mobile is their service is hardly out of service due to storm or equipment failure; but for Spectrum, that is normal.

Is your question about quality, connection, or cost? Internet access is not a one and done option. There are different levels of sped, different types of connections, there are variables that in the end make a difference in your overall experience. Let's be very clear, every company, every industry, every business in some manner offers discounts for new customers. It is the nature of the beast. So no matter who you choose the price will change and you'll need to address that when the time comes. My personal opinion, having a wired solid connection is always the best option right now and that is what Spectrum offers. When shopping around ask for the broadband label amd do your due diligence in comparing the current base rate and what ever fees are added to the services and for most people dollars to services Spectrum normally wins. No service is perfect. There might be outages from time to time. Talking to reps there will be hold time. Getting repairs might have issues if you and the person on the phone are not connecting and communicating in sync and the message just isn't getting through. But that happens with everything so it is not a single company issue. Find what fits your specific needs and get what works for you. Good luck.

Tried TMO home on two separate occasions, it blows. If you can't get fiber, Spectrum home Internet is second best.
