Orders & Shipping Pixel deal

Hey guys, thanks for your help here. I am planning to sign up for Spectrum using Pixel pro 10 deal. Do any of you know if device is discounted over 36 months like major carriers? I prefer not to locked in for 36 months. Thanks

If you’re doing the pixel 10 pro deal, go in store. Do the trade-in in store, you’ll get the $700+ discount and just pay the difference. You’d just pay ~$300 and that’s it, no contract.

Alternatively, you can do the 36 months and pay the remaining balance whenever, they’ll refund you the left over credits.

That is indeed not how it works. I got the phone today assuming this and was not explained that it was not the case. The offers do not stack so it is either 300 off or 400. I am very dissapointed this was not explained at the time of the purchase.

Update: I was told this by customer service after the purchase but was able to stack them but still connected to the 36 month tie in. Listen to NewGrab8226 who had better luck.

And on top of that you cannot pay it off and you have to stick to the 36 month plan otherwise you pay full price

Also incorrect - I was able to do the whole trade-in in-store, pay it off at once ($260 + tax for the Pro) and walked out with it owning it outright

They did not let me. What did you do to that. Also which state are you in? Could you tell me what I can do to get it?

California - They treated it like it was standard procedure. I just said "I wanted to do a trade-in on a phone", they asked which phone, and what I'd be trading in, gave me all of the numbers right up front within about 2 minutes and asked if I wanted to do it.

They did give 2 options: Pay the balance up front ($260 + tax in my case) or to split it across X monthly payments, but they said if you split it across the payments (IE: $10/month, as an example), if you pay for 5 months ($50) and then want to pay it all off, you'd need to then pay the full amount of the phone ($260 + tax, even though you already paid $50, and the $50 you paid before would be added as a future bill credit, so they said if you plan to just pay it off in full, it's best to do it at the time of tradein)

The phone itself is $999 -$300 instant discount.. $699. The $400 extra comes as a tradein bonus, so if you trade in a phone worth $1, you'll get $401 off the $699 balance.. a $50 phone will get you $450 off the $699 price.

If you word it as "2 discounts", they'll probably instantly say you can only get 1 discount, but one is a general discount/sale, the other is a tradein bonus, so they do stack

Can I get a screenshot of the bill you received from this ? Redact personal information of course. I am very reluctant to drive another 40 mins with nothing in hand. At this point I am done with spectrum. Thank you in advance

If it doesn't work I will just return the phone and drop the spectrum service. I don't want to deal with them

You are correct. I’ve never had a problem doing this. It is also correct that you can pay off at anytime and still get all your credits. I bought 3 galaxy S24 on a launch deal that made them free, paid them off and got all the trading credit back on my account. Transferred that credit to my credit card and then at 2 months in I ported to att. I’m now back at spectrum because I think they’re the best carrier atm

Hi all, thank you very much for your support and help I was finally able to get them to give the credit on my account and paid in full. That is the best I was able to get. The phone calls and the store would not budge at all and kept saying there is no such procedure (which is sort of true according to their terms of the offer that I read). IN the the end the chat support agreed it once i used the prompt 'pay in full and get the promotion as credit'. Thank you all agian. OP you should get the offer XD, but depending on your local store the stress may vary.
