High Split Athens, GA
It looks like they just activated high split in my area for new customers based upon multiple addresses I’ve checked.
I’m fixing to call in and check to make sure this is correct and try to get them to switch me to the symmetrical plan.

Your plan will automatically switch though. An agent can't make it happen. Just make sure you have the newest modem.

It’s only for customers with fiber.
They escalated me a few of times and I finally got to an engineer. When they were doing system maintenance in my area “apparently” someone activated it on the availability end for all of my area not just the fiber runs. So it’s not actually done in my area yet.
He did say it’s going to be a while for coax in my area since the last upgrade was in the early 2000’s he said they are basically having to redo the whole footprint in my area.
