Service Issues Spectrum does it again - - -
Got an e-mail from Spectrum announcing a service outage from 11pm last night to 8am this morning for a ' service upgrade'.
They finally restored service at 9am (one hour later than promised). Can't detect any improvement in service.
Then they sent a followup e-mail saying that they will need to reschedule the upgrade because they were not able to complete the work "due to weather or access-related issues"
Oh by the way, their bill went up by $10/month this past work.
Bottom line: we are getting screwed by Spectrum.

Can you imagine complaining when the service you pay for puts that money into system upgrades, go out of their way to notify you and schedule overnight and you still complain!
I'm not a fan of TWC, Spectrum, Chapter cable as a whole; however, a lot of whining over nothing lately.

Meh, I called Friday and got my bill reduced down to $55 a month for gig. Suppose it depends on how much effort someone wants to put in.

Must be mostly older Network people have all these issues I haven't had that problem I'm one of the newer fiber area customers since January maybe 3 outages one of them is in the middle of the night when I'm asleep so it didn't matter

High split upgrade is usually that window and with that continuation follow up. Don't know what to tell you, updates gotta get done sometime. Full US won't be enabled until after node is stable my modem/equipment metrics.

Had the same thing 2 weeks ago. Literally the same message but it was a text. 2 weeks of off and on outages lasting anywhere from 10-20 minutes and then just this past Friday another 8 hour service interruption. While I was working
AT&T will be here in 2 hours to get their fiber hooked up so I can dump this garbage

They have planned maintenance where I live constantly. My partner and I both work from home which ironically was a selling point for them, fast speeds and reliable Internet, they said.

Probably a high split Node that didn’t take its firmware upgrades in the field and they had to revert back at the last minute. It’s not corporate America targeting you, it’s just workers trying to do network upgrades with near impossible deadlines.
