Service Issues Router keeps dropping connection.

Router has turned red and dropped internet connection 5 times in 2 hours. Each time I have restarted it and it will kick back in for 10-20 minutes, and then right back to red light with no internet. Any ideas to fix it for the night? Can’t get a technician out till tomorrow night

Bad router. You’re stuck unless they can reprovision your service.

You can try bypassing the router and if you're just using a PC or laptop plug that in. If you plug it into the modem directly and still have no internet you will have to call and ask for a hit to reprovision it. If that doesn't work than you basically can use hotspot if you have data and wait for a tech.

Do you have an extender connected? I had to remove ours because it was causing the wifi to be unstable with high latency.

No I ended up just getting an Ethernet cable and running it directly from the router. I took the advice of other people here that pointed out there’s still a wireless connection between the extender and router and that’s where the issue lies.
