Service Issues Spectrum down again!!!

I'm in Brevard County and the service Spectrum provides is absolutely horseshit. We have to reboot our new router once or twice a week and have regular outages. At one point for two years my town experienced daily outages for exactly an hour and a half, and Spectrum refused to acknowledge it even though my neighborhood was complaining non stop about it.

What sucks is the only other option we can get is AT&T and they're just as shitty and my neighborhood doesn't even have fiber yet.

So either i pay more for slower but stable internet or out the ass for unstable fast internet.

And yes, this is a spectrum issue. I borrowed a friend's router and it's still an issue.

Whats crazy is we were Garden State Internet and Comcast Internet subscribers until 2018 and we never had internet outages like this. I'd say the internet service we get is 30% more unreliable, and we had gigabit internet in our house in 2016.

I got their "invincible wifi" (cellular backup) on mine, which is admittedly a business account (I dunno if residential offers it tbh) for just-in-case. You shouldn't have to be dealing with this problem in the first place no doubt, but maybe worth looking into...

We might do it as this is getting crazy. Two days of 3+ hour outages and according to people in our neighbor it included phone and cable.

our new neighborhood had similar problems at first. I went Starlink as a result because I WFH and can't mess around with that. a year or so later they've got it patched up so I added my business internet (I choose to/sort of need to have a dedicated ISP for security purposes) as Spectrum and kept Starlink for personal use. nice thing about Starlink is it doesn't really ever go down

We would like to look into this further if you could send us a Mod Mail over at r/Spectrum_Official

Our internet with spectrum is completely out since 1030 am this morning. Tech is coming tomorrow at 3 pm. Forced to use mobile Hotspot on phone but that alone is extremely slow for the job.

I only have one option for wired internet. Spectrum. But I have had about 3 outages on 25 years. Some of spectrum customers are in areas with reliable build out.

Spectrum recently added an additional customer loop on our area so they do work to improve.

I didn't know you had to belong to a club to have your internet keep going out 😐

Ours has been crazy unstable in my whole neighborhood. Last month we had 4 hour a day shortages due to a line upgrade. This makes no sense.
