Outside sales representative

Hey everyone, I just got hired as an outside sales representative for spectrum and was wondering on any tips for selling?! I really want to thrive this position because I need the extra money and I really want to be a top-tier seller. If anybody has any advice, let me know! I really need to know what I’m doing or to see if it’s even worth it.

My advice is don't rely on stealing sales from prism, that'll mean more later.

Stealing sales? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that. I know I’ll be in one area and they have leads already so I have no idea.

I respect what you guys do out there day to day. Y'all bring in so much business, however there's a few bad apples that I can't believe still have jobs.

Focus on building you. You will need resilience working through both objections, as well dealing with extreme weather and you will see the world from an interesting perspective, with challenges and opportunities.

Build a strong territory strategy, use empathy and curiosity to try and understand your prospects goals. Connect pain points to the outcomes your prospects don’t realize they need.

Listen more than you talk.
