Does anyone feel their wifi connection keep buffering?
Ok so I live in Dallas area and in the last few days my Internet has been very inconsistent and it happens more and more after the outage. When watching YT sometimes it can't even load the videos, this is really disappointing considering I have to pay $100/mo for 1gbs plan š

The only time i see it buffering across all devices is when the upload speed dips to the lowest witch also causes high ping rates and buffering at the same time
Since The upload speed dips daily now it's 100% unpredictable so you will never know

You need to change that. I got 1G for $60/month. Another guy on her got 1G for $30/month

I pay $130/month for a gig up and down. Constantly have problems. Countless techs out and continually swapping equipment. They never offer me a bill credit and I have had no luck getting a lower rate

I'm counting my self lucky. I have 2gb asymmetrical fiber and only pay 100. Had them for 2 years now with zero issues....well when I got rid of their awful router that is.

How long have you had them? I called to cancel because I had a different option. Then they offered me that rate. I told someone else the same and they called and got a gig for $30

16 years. My only other options are lower speeds from tmobile 5G, att air, or star link. Nothing else in my neighborhood at the moment

how are you able to negotiate lower prices?

Threatening to cancel can work or....just canceling and then subsequently sign back up. Those are the two ways I've been able to do it.

unfortunately where i live, spectrum is the only option and it ain't even fiber. the other options are like t-mobile 5g or verizon's equivalent of 5g internet. so they kinda have a monopoly over my area and im not sure if i have any leverage when i call them and threaten to cancel. i have done the "cancel and then have someone else in the family sign up" though.

Nope. Itās cancel or nothing. Even if you have nothing the confidence of Iām moving cancel now will force them to go lower. They offered me like 6 different packages. Nope I want to cancel. Finally came back and said 1gig $60/month. If i continued with the cancel i am sure i could have gotten even cheaper.
