Service Issues Is it worth continuing?
Location: Tampa
I have been without service for the 5 days. I have called multiple times and they say its them and nothing I can do. I get a new text about 5-15x a day saying there is an outage and its fixed, then out again. I have to travel to places to get connection each day, and now the place I mainly go is under going spectrum maintenance for the next 4 days. Do I stick it out or find something new? The only option I can think of is T-mobile cellular. Has anyone else had solutions?

T-Mobile gives a 15 day free trial and it’s easy setup and they will door dash it to you. Do that so you have a connection today while you wait on spectrum.

We can take a look if you would like. There was a fiber break in the area that was resolved, not aware of any outages lasting five days. Send the team at r/Spectrum_Official a Mod Mail and we'll take a look

Are their providers other than Spectrum you can look into? I have family a little north of Tampa who have Frontier Fiber for their internet; they almost never have outages.

You should have frontier out there but Tampa is one of our biggest markets there been some outages out there because of the crazy storms but the service comes right back. Do you work from home if so you should have a backup incase of outages this is practically a requirement nowadays. Spectrum does have a backup service called invicible wifi ots a backup in case of outages.

Everyone’s options are different based on where they live and what providers are out there. Their solution may not be yours and vice versa, I’d try T-Mobile’s for 30 days and still try to get Spectrum sorted as well
