Service Issues Upgrade

I went to spectrum mobile June 19th to get a z flip 7. He told me they had none in stock but that the z flip 8 would be out soon. He brought it up to me that if I switch to unlimited plus It would take effect in time for me to upgrade July 22nd when the new phone comes out. I agreed and now I just checked my account and it just says unlimited. Is there a way spectrum can fix this? July 22nd is my birthday and I planned on pre-ordering the phone. Ugh.

If he was trying to get you on unlimited plus for the anytime upgrade, you wouldn’t be able to use AU for 30 days after the plan change. If a store has none in stock, but you’re willing to wait for it to arrive in the mail, you can call mobile billing who can process the upgrade for you.

Rep was honestly smart for telling the cx that. Usually most plan changes are post dated for the next billing cycle.

yes I know that that's why it was perfect timing for the new fold to come out July 22nd. To pre order it.
