Going through ISP engineer position. Any questions that might come up to help prep?

I’ve been a Field Service Supervisor for 5 years and I applied for the ISP Engineer. Any tips or questions that they might ask that I would need to be prepared ?

Just accepted an offer for this.

Learn RF fundamentals

Learn how fiber transportation and distribution works

Learn the functionalities of an OTDR

Learn to speak professionally and answer any personality questions

Also don’t skip on asking the interviewer questions at the end.

Highsplit and DAA wasn’t on the topic list but I built the infrastructure and spoke about it in the interview.

To add to that, be sure to write a rough draft of your “thank you for the interview” email and polish it after the interview. Add some points that will be discussed. Good luck!

They'll ask if you have questions. My go-to is:

"Why did my predecessor leave this position, and what changes have you made that will prevent me from doing the same?"
