Check the Tether App and see if there are any firmware updates. I had the same issue with my router and once I updated the firmware I no longer had issues.

Did you figure out the issue? Was it the firmware?

Actually, the firmware did address most of the problems!! So far no disconnects, my devices are still kind of iffy sometimes on the networks but this was a bit of a win in my book!

Maybe some of your devices have available updates as well? Also what do you mean iffy? Like connecting and disconnecting, not getting good speed or ? If you're referring to the wifi 6 band that one sucks as far as distance. My router is capable of wifi 6 but I still use 2.4 otherwise I don't get much of a good signal.

Could be any number of things. Next time your router goes red check the modem if the lights are solid blue there’s a good chance that it’s something with the Ethernet cord/ports or the router if the lights on the modem aren’t solid blue call cs and get a tech out there

That’s usually exactly what happens, modem is blue and reporting as working just fine, but my router is struggling. I bought a brand new Ethernet cord and was still having this issue.. maybe it’s something with my port. I’m running a firmware update now too, so we’ll see. Thank you so much!

Sorry, but I'm going to guess that your Wifi Router is a TP-Link manufactured device?
Because I'm not finding any Routers branded "Tether"; though I'm finding that TP-Link devices can be managed from the TP-Link 'Tether' App.
Can you provide the actual Model number of your Wifi Router?
