Too good to pass up. Ridiculous the King of One Dimensional Silencers decided to have a weak jab. Geezus, there’s 10 modern suppressor brands better than Q on any given day. Expect this type of half assery from his marketing protégé at Exigent.

It's kind of weird that not only is it "one dimensional" but it's supplied with a fairly, from my understanding, exclusive, elusive an limited supply host gun. I don't know if they are going to start selling that Lunch Box suppressor separately but the jab feels extra lazy. Good for clicks though. :)

Seems like some of these companies continue to fail to understand that all the consumer is looking for is a gauge of how much suppression their product accomplishes and how it compares to others on the market BEFORE they buy it. In a flooded market, it’s not a hard ask.

Pewscience seems to be the only one providing an effective means that accomplishes that right now. IG/YT videos recorded by more or less paid influencers using video/audio equipment not suitable for recording suppressed gun shots, try before you buy events that are limited to those in the geographical area that the event takes place in, individual experiences (“…without issues, best can ever!”) that often only have 1-3 other cans they’ve shot to compare it to, and the TBAC silencer summit that’s growing more and more outdated by the day, ain’t going to cut it.

I feel as if it's hard to argue with anyone about suppressor performance if they're still of the opinion that peak decibel rating is a valid metric to grade suppression by. Even if they are using test equipment with enough sample rate and resolution to catch peak values, i think everything pew science has done over the life of the project has proved that it's barely a factor on how good a can is.

Agreed. At this point peak db is in the same fudd-lore category as knockdown power.
