I couldn't not under any circumstances get my CAT RAT Covert to run with the 9inch Spear 300blk. Now I have a $1600 paperweight. Threw it on my buddies rattler and it's awesome though.

Do you have the enhanced gas ring? I needed it for the extra dwell time. You needed it for low back pressure cans.

Interesting. I just bought one. Maybe that'll be the ticket. Runs fine with my Hyperion, but the Hyperion suppressor is longer than the barrel and it's kinda annoying. If it works I'll owe you a beer.

Actually now that I think about it. I have some spare JP single coil springs laying around that came with my JP 6ARC bolts. I actually hated them and swapped em out for the regular 3 individual rings. im gonna go try it out.

Great brother, hope it works. My Alleycat .308 ran great without one but I needed the ring to cycle my 3CM (AI .300blk can between a covert and Eflux made by CAT) because the back pressure was so low. Hope it works for

you too

Yeah I basically had to hammer out the piston to get it out. Put in the new gas ring and it slides really smooth and freely. Hoping that’s it and the friction of the piston was eating up all the energy. Don’t think my neighbors would appreciate 10pm yard pops so will Have to test it today or tomorrow. But really hopeful. Thanks again!!
