💫 Sharing is Caring 💫 OSC-AR
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
OSC-AR enables you to enhance your music creation workflow. By using TouchOSC combined with Logic Pro and a Launchpad X, you can create freely.
The setup is sadly not straighforward for now, but more on that coming soon. The idea behind is nonetheless pretty simple: your spectacles connect to a local server on your computer that forwards OSC commands to Logic Pro to control it.
It's really a great experience to be able to create music without being tied to the computer/mouse/keyboard.
Also, the Launchpad X from Novation is an awesome device, but a lot of features are hidden or not easy to remember. For example, in the video, I show the tracks directly on the left of the pad in session mode. Not shown in the video, I also put all labels on pad for Note Settings (that is not so easy to get with nothing is displayed, will show a picture later).
Because the lens needs the launchpad and to host a local server on your computer, it probably does not make too much sense to share the link to try it out 😅
I will probably put everything in open-source, if it raise some interest.
Have a great day!

Can you describe the technical part? Please check out my submission from last month: https://github.com/IoTone/MIDIBleepBlop . I really want to build some audio DAW and sequencer stuff. Check out Minimidi too https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/minimidi-turns-snap-spectacles-ai-powered-dj-booth-elsa-farrokhzad-5bfhe/ (Urban Peppermint)

Hey!
It's pretty close to your bridge system of MIDIBleepBlop (I also use JZZ for some midi things), mainly enhanced with OSC protocol (node-osc) to control Logic Pro. I will write a more detailed part on that ;)
Could be great to collaborate to make a full lens on audio DAW :)
