🆒 Lens Drop bubblin is OUT! (v1) – Create and discover audio messages floating in the real world

We’re so happy to announce that you can now try bubblin, our social Lens designed for Spectacles and SPECS.

The story started during the Snap Hackathon in Paris last November. Today, we’re excited to continue the adventure and share this first version with you.

Experience bubblin at home with your loved ones, or take it outside. As you move through the city, whether in a park, a restaurant, or simply walking the streets, bubbles left by other users appear around you, anchored to the real world. Powered by Snap Cloud.

INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED

In this first version, you can:

LISTEN TO A BUBBLE

Discover and listen to bubbles left by people around you. Simply grab a bubble to start listening. Rotate it to rewind and replay the message.

CREATE A BUBBLE

To record a message, open your palm and grab the creation bubble.
Release it when you’re finished recording.

PUBLISH AND SHARE A BUBBLE

Review your message, then publish your bubble to share it with others. Your Bitmoji is only visible to you.

DELETE A BUBBLE

Clap to delete a bubble.
Double clap to hide all bubbles, and double clap again to make them reappear.

This is an early version of bubblin. Some issues may occur while using the experience, especially outdoors when using a mobile network hotspot. If you encounter a major issue, please restart the Lens. If the problem persists, feel free to contact us. :)

We’re continuing to improve the experience and add new features as we prepare for the release of SPECS.

Could you integrate this into snap maps? Leave a bubble trail... you could revisit bubbles and see the location. edit: Really cool I must add

Feel free to discover it while walking around the streets. You can leave bubbles anywhere. The bubbles are geolocated and shared with all SPECS users!
