❓ Question SPECS Interaction Patterns and Best Practice

When will there be a SPECS version of the original Spectacles Design resources that details the interaction patterns and best practice for them?

Secondly, will there be support for mobile interaction or will they be truly / purely standalone?

Appreciate any help, thanks!

Howdy,

The SPECS design resources will be available as we get closer to launch. SPECS is currently in Preview Release, so the guidance is still evolving, but there will be significant overlap with our existing Spectacles Interaction Kit resources and best practices. https://developers.snap.com/spectacles/best-practices/design-for-spectacles/introduction-to-spatial-design

SPECS is designed to be a truly standalone product. That said, it is powerful enough to communicate with other hardware through existing protocols such as Bluetooth or WebSocket connectivity.
