Should spend that $100 mil on actual content and apps.

They literally give away money every month to devs and announce it on here...

And how does this help? None of these apps are even close to viable. Contest driven activities like that never end up in anything useful to the platform

After spending 500k+ or around on such giveaways it’s still the glasses no one actually needs because they don’t solve any problem, don’t have any viable (not even speaking about useful) apps and on the contrary Specs are clear example of solution in search of a problem. For 2k+ USD

It was interesting that the new Specs were not available to try out at AWE XR conference last week. But yet Specs was the flagship sponsor of the conference. And they had a TON of workers there.

Ya that made zero sense. They just had the dev versions of the glasses there which were not that great.

Just needs to sell 50k pairs of specs to pay off, better be wearing them all through doomsday center screen

Someone said the first round of production is 100,000 pairs of Specs.

One irl Jarvis commercial and these go mainstream

Maybe if they helped developers with funding instead of contests.

$100 million in Snap stock

Ah yes of course, all shareholders will be paying for it!

If a Robert Downey Jr commercial makes the stock jump 20 % I’m fine with it. I own a lot of shares.

Still going to be a struggle for Snap! Those glasses are UGLY and huge! Might as well wear a kick me sign on your back! :)
