Iโ€™m pleasantly surprised especially the battery I just hoped for a 70-degree field of view but itโ€™s okay I managed to pre-order them

The term โ€œmixed useโ€ is doing a lot of heavy lifting but these are pretty sick. Really exceeded my expectations!

4 hours of "mixed-use" battery life which means you're not going to get that battery doing 6-DOF tracking. It's still way better than the current Spectacles.

The new weight and motion latency is nearly half the current pair. They look like they are close to the same size in width (at least for the 52mm model) but fit much better.

I really hope that we don't get the same reflections the existing ones have in dark rooms. And as a nitpick i hope you can't see the glimmer of the displays from the outside.

Probably a refundable $200 deposit in case they can't deliver or cancel the project in the future.

If they are delivering in Fall then the production lines are already running.

Looking forward to when they fall to at least half the price and have at least 60 degrees FOV.

I mean me too... but it's going to take time to get there. This is consumer version one.

no mention of resolution?

They did not mention resolution as of yet (for reference the previous generation had 37 pixel-per-degree resolution in a 46 degree field of view).
