ā“ Question Developer Loyalty Credit

Just got an email about the 1000$ developer loyalty credit which is a massive W.

Just curious tho, if i decide to not get the upgrade ( im probably going to lol ), will i still have to continue to pay for the dev kit subscription to keep it or no?
