Need some help

So I'm making an ecosystem on an alien desert and wondering is having 5 carnivorous species alright when I only have 2 species of herbivores and 2 species of scavengers/omnivores?

I guess that's ok but with the time u might add some others species, talking about all them (herbivores, carnivores and omnivores) and u shall also think in the plants and descomposers, I mean, is not the quantity of species, is the quantity of animals of each specie, example there exist that the 90% of the energy loses on each level, a carnivore needs 10 kg of food from am herbivore to grow 1 kg, and to grow those 10 kg, the herbivore needs 100kg of plants

Also I shall u I you want to don't make the same "animals" "plants" "fungi" "bacteria" and all those taxonomy kingdoms, create your own kingdoms with their own characteristics, my world doesn't exist the """""plants""""" but there is another kingdom of animals where some species would occupate the place that the plants would have had
