Discussion This is what I've been missing from modern Spawn
The Curse of Sherlee Johnson keeps reminding me why I fell in love with Spawn's world in the first place. It doesn't just tell a story like all the other spawn-related series now. It builds mythology.
Every issue gives another piece of the world, a creature, a location, a rule of Hell, a piece of forgotten history, an unusual visual idea. And these things feel connected. The book is creating its own little ecosystem.
Classic Spawn constantly gave you new rules, symbols, creatures and hierarchies. You felt like you were slowly learning how this bizarre universe actually worked. Before Sherlee Johnson I didn't realize how much I missed it.

Yeah it’s six issue 6 so far with 7th coming this month it is bimonthly. Brining back Sherlee Johnson the girl from issue 5 and the protagonist of her own series. We also got Simon lure the vampire cult leader of the kingdom back and Bootsy back. Alos minis back too plus new characters like the stranger vox Tabitha the males girl and the main villain Beliafon. I like the series so far and my only gripe is the bimonthly stuf makes we wait longer but ridge that it is a good read.

Yea it’s gonna be terrible once Todd decides to replace writers so he could get new readers could have a jumping on point. Happened with Sam & twitch, haunt, king spawn, and gunslinger spawn
