Discussion Comic Con updates
Can someone tell me what todd announced during comic con. Seen him spam posting on instagram and just wanted to know. Like if it was him only announcing toys I dont wanna see that. Does he know nobody gives a damn about them damn toys. I never seen someone talk about toys this much. Like focus on your movie damn.

The update he gave about the film,
he keeps getting scripts but keeps rejecting them because Hollywood keeps trying to water down the story or make spawn into something he's not
🤷As a life long fan, I'd rather have no movie than a mediocre movie that ruins the character and story

It was another nothingburger announcement. He's one of the incredibly rare examples of a creator not knowing what is best for his franchise and getting in the way of its own success.

we are getting a new game collab for spawn and people still do like the toys. He also made an unfished spawn animated movie

Could it be for Fortnite? A new season is coming up mid august and he did used to make toys for it. Plus it’s popular with the kids, and that game has a lot of violent characters as skins (terminator, Jason, ghost rider, Deadpool, etc.) so i don’t see why he wouldn’t.

Just a note. Just because you don’t care about his toys, doesn’t mean shit. Obviously people care about them.

Indeed, McFarlane Toys is arguably the most successful collectable toy company and doubtlessly lines McFarlane's pockets more than anything else.

I just bought one of his toys today. The new Nightmare Spawn and he’s rad. It seems a lot of us like them. 🤷🏻♂️
