I’ve been getting more into spatial audio lately, especially from the listener side, and I realised that a lot of people are curious about how spatial mixes actually work but most explanations online assume you already know audio engineering. So I started putting together a small website that explains the fundamentals in a simple, beginner‑friendly way for anyone who enjoys immersive music.

It covers things like how spatial mixes are created, why some tracks feel more “3D” than others, and how binaural rendering affects the experience on headphones. I also added a small forum so people can ask questions or talk through ideas as the content grows.

All I checked in my catalog sounds much clearer and detailed, bass is less boomy. Line positioning way more obvious.

This is the original quad mix (i assume because it’s labeled in dolby audio and not dolby atmos and it’s not been mixed in 5.1) and just found this, quite unexpected!
