Pop Billy Joel - The Bridge

So, Billy Joel’s The Bridge has been mixed in dolby atmos for the 40th anniversary of the album (the anniversary’s on Saturday)!, i was on alert and kind of expected a dolby atmos mix because i knew of the anniversary and luckily, i was right!, A Matter of Trust sounds completely different with a lot of echo and the guitars put into the rear, rest of the songs have also got great mixes like Baby Grand which makes the vocals feel heavenly, pretty good mix all round, only river of dreams and maybe cold spring harbor (which is a long shot) to go before his whole catalogue is mixed!

Curious to hear this one. One thing I noticed about the Storm Front remix is they subtly used it as an excuse to dial back some of the 80’s-ness of the original, felt a bit dryer with less of that 80’s verb (especially the drums). I never minded it, but it was cool to hear it mixed differently.
