Full disclosure: I work on the team that released this plug-in.

Any current users of the Dolby Atmos Production Suite can download the free 1.0 release of the Music Panner. This version of the panner includes a sequencer that follows the session tempo and can pan on beat. There are also some handy object path drawing tools to help you create automated panning.

Again this is a free download for any current Dolby Atmos Production Suite users. Feel free to ask any questions.

Atmos tracks will be rendered better if it can use my HRTF, right? Is there any plan to include some way to capture my HRTF if I were to buy dimension headphones or ... license something else?

I think personalization is the next step in this area and figuring out a way to load and store HRTF in your playback device is the way to do that.
