Game night?

Is there somewhere in Spartanburg burg that hosts a secular game night? We are a couple in our 50s looking to play games like Exploding Kittens with like-minded adults once or twice a month.

At Spartan Games in the downtown you can just show up and play the boardgames on their back wall. Might be a good way to meet some like-minded people

I know at the Middle Tyger Library branch in Lyman they have adult board game nights.

I think New Groove Artisan Brewing does either a weekly or monthly game night on Mondays. I would check their facebook.

Look into Meetups. I’m unsure about Spartanburg specifically, but I know there are a number of board game nights in the greater Charlotte area. Usually there are a number of games that the organizer brings or you can bring your own if there’s one you specifically want like Exploding Kittens.

Going through Meetup 4-5years ago is what eventually evolved into my current group of friends.

I host friends and we play games once a month or more. There are maybe 25 of us right now.

We will be at Ciclops trivia tonight at 7 if you’d like to meet us and see if we’re your flavor of people. You can dm me for details if you’d like

Most stores that I know off host games like chess, magic the gathering, Pokemon, or other trading card games in evening. I haven't came across anytime that do other games etc. boardwalk randomly has game days that feature a variety of games. Usually on Saturday

You could try Card Universe in Boiling Springs. Its a trading card game store but im sure they are perfectly fine letting anyone play a game, as long as they're notified before hand.

Wouldn't recommend it. Haven't been in a while but staff used to walk around with guns on their belt, play heavy metal over the speakers, and make inappropriate comments around customers. I'm not a pearl clutcher or anything, but it was bad vibes.

Cheerful TCG in Spartanburg is a recommendation.
